As 45 years ago, nowadays Paolo keeps leading Sanfeletto and making Prosecco with the same philosophy as always, devoting all his efforts to achieve the highest quality in each of his bottles. The four sons of the couple, Alberto, Nicola, Francesco and Giovanni, give as well their support to the winery, helping out from the harvest to international fairs and business meetings.
The winery Sanfeletto is situated in San Pietro di Feletto, a charming village located at the heart of the hilly ridge which links the cities of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the North-East of Italy. On these slopes, the cultivation of the grapes «Glera» and the production of the sparkling wine «Prosecco» were first initiated, centuries ago. It is exclusively here that Prosecco achieves the peak of its quality, deserving the highest certification for an Italian wine, the «Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed origin».
The first and most important goal of Sanfeletto has always been achieving the highest quality in its Prosecco. The first secret to reach this is to monitor personally and thoroughly each step of the production process. From grapevines cultivation to the harvest, from the sparkling process to the distribution of the final product in the market, at SANFELETTO every stage is followed with obsessive care.
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG represents the vertex of the quality pyramid of Prosecco. It is obtained from Glera grapes in purity, coming exclusively from high hills vineyards located on the hilly ridge that links Conegliano to Valdobbiadene.
The long experience in the sparkling process allows Sanfeletto to produce as well excellent Prosecco DOC Treviso and other sparkling wines obtained from different grapes varieties, as the Rosénoir, an Extra Burt rosé made from Pinot Noir grapes in purity.
